I defended my PhD on: Computer Vision and Transfer Learning Methods to Index and Explore Images of Pompeii at the University of Arkansas in December 2020.

2021 - 2022

Software Engineer - Kitbash 3D

Development of Web Application and Desktop application to manage 3D assets. Database management. Python 3D pipeline integration in the application.

Technology used: C#, SQL, Python, REACT, AWS, Git, Blazor.

2017 - 2021

Software Engineer - Tesseract Center

Creation and design of search engine based on images from Pompei. Integration of search features such as textual similarity, image similarity as well as a combination of both. It was made using image processing, computer vision, and natural language processing technology.

Lead Software Engineer on Mornin’ in Your Eyes, a 2D point and click narrative-driven adventure/educational game on the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. Built dialogue and cut scene system, UI system, in-game image renderer, saving system, and a modular level/scene system.

Lead Software Engineer on A House of the Ozarks, a 3D virtual tour Unity application featuring the work of architect Fay Jones. Integrated touch-base and click-based mechanics, UI system, and event system. Coded for guided first-person view and third-person view.

Software Engineer on Forum Boarium, a 3D archaeological visualization Unity application for presenting information on the ancient Forum Boarium site in Rome. Primary responsibilities focused on UI/UX and gameplay mechanics development.

Technology used: C#, Unity, Inky, Docker, Git, C++, Python, SQL, OpenCV, Keras, Colab Notebook, TensorFlow.

2016 - 2017

Teaching Assistant - University of Arkansas

Grading experience including students' exams and homework for Information Security Classes. Assisted professors in helping students by providing code reviews, general classwork feedback/assistance, and holding regular office hours for meeting with students.

2015 - 2016

Research Engineer - Smart ES

Research on 3D Object recognition and obstacle avoidance using low-cost smart cameras: Created prototypes of image processing solutions for autonomous ground vehicles in an indoor environment. Built and soldered autonomous robot, included raspberry pie implementation using Python. Integration of C++ code on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays).

Traffic light detection algorithm for smart camera. Implementation of a C++ solution using OpenCV library.

Internship at The French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport: C++ implementation of modules to test smart autonomous cars.

Virtual Pompeii

Interactive software tool to explore the volumes of Pompei: pitture e mosaci.

Mornin’ in Your Eyes

2D point and click, dialogue based game. Built as WebGL/Standalone. Used to teach US history classes at the University of Arkansas.

A House of the Ozark

Standalone 3D application made with Unity to virtually tour the home of Fay Jones and learn about his architectural philosophy.

Graph Theory Project

Implementation of the algorithms described in the paper "The Alcuin Number of a Graph" of Péter Csorba, Cor A. J. to create a puzzle game with 8 different levels.

Whack a Zombie

2D Action mobile game. The player has to whack as many zombies as they can! Made with Unity.

Weather Application

Weather application made with Blazor and openweathermap API integration.

Dig Doge Doug

2D, 2 player, Standalone strategy game. This a fun family game with hidden math to play with kids. (Global Game Jam 2021)

Farm for your life

2D, survival farming game made with Unity. (Ludum Dare Game Jam 45)
